DSC 0022 CopyThe Accra Central Police Service has received four (4) air conditioners from SIC Life Company Limited in a short event that took place on Tuesday, 20th March 2018.

The delegation from SIC Life included Mr. Kwaku Appiah-Menka II (Deputy Managing Director), Nana Serwaa Acheampong (Head, Legal), Mr. Albert Bahun-Wilson (Head, Corporate Services Dept.) and Mr. Jacob Aikins-Tandoh (Head, Audit & Inspection). The Ghana Police Service was represented by DSP Richard Bonsu, Chief Inspector Samuel A. Mintah, Detective Sergeant Helen Otoo and other officers.

On his part, Mr. Kwaku Appiah-Menka II, Deputy Managing Director expressed the need for the gesture as part of the company’s corporate social responsibilities which is in line with its goal of giving absolute peace of mind by being friendly to the external environment.

He explained that although the gesture has been long overdue, it was necessary that it has seen the light of day. Mr. Appiah-Menka II hoped that the air conditioners will benefit the officers at the Central Police Station in the discharge of their duties effectively and efficiently.

The Commander of the station, DSP Richard Bonsu demonstrated his joy and enthusiasm for the pleasant presentation. He then thanked the delegation for the donation and hoped for a continuous beneficial relationship between the two institutions.

DSP Bonsu then recommended police presence in SIC Life offices particularly, the SIC Life Mall which is situated in the heart of the Central Business District of Accra to improve security for occupants and shoppers.
